Lexington students loved Books and Hoops so much, we are squeezing in one more before the end of the school year. Check out the student created post on the upcoming session for Books and Hoops. 

Books and Hoops

On February 8th, 2017 at Bowman school gym there was Books and Hoops. Books and Hoops is where we read a book, talk about the book with a group, then play/learn some basketball. If you win some contests (in the basketball part), you would get a set of books. But It’s only for 4th graders.

The next books and hoops will be on June 19th, 2017 at  the Diamond Middle School gym. Some kids helped Mr. Bruff to improve Books and Hoops. They made a flyer. The rest is secret. All we know is that it will be fun.

Even if you don’t like basketball it is still fun because you get to learn about basketball. And it is not just about basketball, we will play other fun games too! And you get to talk about books with other kids.
