Individual Donors
Our all-in cost to distribute a book sits at just $4. It is efficient for us to serve students, classrooms, and schools with Books and Hoops. We invite you to become part of the effort with your own promise to support a child, a classroom, or a school.
Corporate Donors
We are continually inspired by the companies, groups and organizations that recognize the need for a love of reading to generate higher literacy to create better lives- and who partner with us to make that a reality. We offer several ways for corporations to get involved and invite you to find out more today.
Donate Time
We receive hundreds of books each month, but before books go out to our students they must be sorted, cleaned, and packed.
To help out, you can volunteer as an individual, as a family, or as a group.
You can also assist Books and Hoops by volunteering at a session. You could to lead a reading group of 3-5 students. Or you can assist basketball station or other activities like handing out books and bookmarks at a Books and Hoops session.
Prefer to help out on your own terms? You can write student letters, which are special notes from grown-up life-long readers that are given to our students to encourage them to keep reading daily.
